Wow it’s been a long time since I’ve been here. Well, if anyone still cares, I have some major news: WE JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE!
It’s a secret. We haven’t told anyone including our families. We get tired of everyone putting in their input and opinions all the time, so we just kept quiet about it throughout the entire negotiating process. Now that it’s official, we are planning on surprising our families and taking them to the house just to “show them a house we’re really interested in.” Then, we’ll announce that it’s going to be ours and we’re moving in December 15th. Yeah, December 15th! It feels so close yet so far.
This is a dream house. It’s got the cookie cutter fill, but our goal is to make it our own. We are so excited to have our own home! Now we can let the dog out to do her business without leashing her up and walking around the entire apartment complex. Now we can take only 10 seconds to take the trash to the dumpster. Now we can get to our vehicles in a few steps! I know, #firstworldproblems.
